I believe these are below market rate homes of some sort at 8th and T Sts NW. Overall they present well, blending in nicely with the area but if you look through the windows, the architect put the interior stairs in front of the windows! This defeats the purpose of having windows. There are windows that aren’t blocked on the other side but why on earth would you not use the interior wall to host the stairs?”
Ed. Note: We once looked at a rowhouse also in Shaw that had stairs like this in front of the window. Anyone remember that? I think it was on 11th Street.
