“crush golf balls from the third baseline of Nationals Park into colorful targets on the field.”

From a press release:

“Global sports entertainment leaders, Topgolf and Complex Sports and Entertainment, are bringing the Topgolf Crush experience to Nationals Park, home of the Washington Nationals, from August 22-25. Topgolf Crush Nationals Park, presented by Coca-Cola and Black Clover, will give sports fans, golfers and non-golfers alike a chance to crush golf balls from the third baseline of Nationals Park into colorful targets on the field. Tickets will go on sale at 10am ET on Friday June 14, at nationals.com/Topgolf.

The four-day festival will include delicious food and beverage options, music for those wanting to keep the fun going before or after their tee time, limited edition Topgolf Crush merchandise available for purchase and additional entertainment options for attendees of all ages.

Topgolf Crush features Toptracer Range technology that tracks the flight path of the golf balls, instantly scoring every shot in an interactive, in-ballpark Topgolf game. Players can compete as they aim for massive targets ranging from 60 to 140 yards away on the field. After dark, the targets will glow and light up the field for a special night golf experience.

Tee times for Topgolf Crush Nationals Park are reserved in one-hour increments. Prices start at $50 for player tickets and $110 for VIP tickets. VIP tickets include access to a hospitality area food vouchers, drink tickets, a limited-edition Topgolf Crush Nationals Park hat provided by Black Clover, a complimentary Topgolf lifetime membership and a $10 Game Play voucher, redeemable at any U.S. Topgolf location, excluding Topgolf Las Vegas.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
