3 Stars Brewing Company Celebrating Six Years Sunday!

From 3 Stars Brewing Company:

“We are celebrating our 6 Year Anniversary with an epic party at the brewery. We will have DJ’s, live music, local vendors plus a killer lineup of collabs, new beers, and taproom exclusives. The tap list will be released in the next couple weeks, but you know it will be super sick and laced with DIPAs, sours, stouts and some yet to be revealed awesomeness. This year we are adding a “can garden” featuring all of our new can releases and collabs.

VIP Experiences get you in an hour early (12pm), 4 draft beer tickets, a 4-pack of each of our new in-house releases (Technicolor Life & Wheelz of Steel [subject to change]) and a custom glass. The VIP Experience will be extremely limited to allow those guests easy access to all the special releases with minimal lines. General admission gets you in the door at 1pm, a custom glass and your first beer. All of our new releases will be available for purchase while limited supplies last. As always, this party will sell out, so get your tickets early as there will be none available at the door. Cheers.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
