Real Estate Fresh Finds is a weekly selection of newly-listed properties in the District, brought to you by Real Living At Home.
The rebound has already occurred. With nearly 300 homes to hit the market within the past week, you have no excuse if you can’t find something worth checking out. Take a look at our suggested Fresh Finds below:
- For almost $4Mil, this Spring Valley Colonial with 5 beds, 5.5 bathrooms, theatre room, pool and a solarium, this is your Most Expensive Home of the Week.
- “All brick Cape Cod with slate roofs sits on one of the quietest blocks in the city.”
- Now this is what a skilled renovation looks like, but maybe it has a little too much staging on this Petworth 4-bedroom.
- At a $88k price tag, this SW 2-bedroom condo earns both Cheapest Home and Worst Photos of the Week, even though the description calls that mess “move in ready.”
- “Lovely 3 bedroom and 3 full bathroom in sought-after Brightwood.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
