“Crimson Whiskey Bar, located downstairs from the lobby of the Pod Hotel in Chinatown, is now offering Barrelhouse Brunch, served every Sunday from 10 am to 2 pm.

Chefs Lawrence DiJoseph and Erick Morales sling an array of Southern-inspired, hangover-friendly entrees, like their Bayou Benedict (poached eggs and fried oysters over an English muffin and drenched in rich hollandaise), Creole Strata (a baked egg, andouille, and shrimp colossus), and the don’t-miss signature, the Gold Plate Special–savory country fried chicken and melted cheese sandwiched between to halves of a sliced-and-grilled vanilla-bean-glazed doughnut.

On the libation front, our full Crimson cocktail menu, as well as brunch staples like Mimosas, Bellinis, Bloody Marys, will be available.

Cocktails such as Corpse Revivors, Seelbachs, and new original features like the Irish Breakfast Tea (a Teeling’s Irish Whiskey old-fashioned made with oolong tea syrup and lemon bitters) and the Wired Friar (bar director and New Englander Nick Hellberg’s scrumptious take on an Espresso Martini).

To set the mood, expect to find a rotating lineup of live music every week, starting this Sunday with a three-set performance by Barcelona-born musical phenom Raul del Moral, whose innovative and eclectic use of live instruments and electronic loopers thrills audiences with lush, DJ-like soundscapes.”
