“Due South is thrilled to announce the grand opening of Due South Dockside, located along the Yards Boardwalk behind the flagship restaurant. Along with incredible views of the Capitol Riverfront, the venue offers an extensive bar along with a wide variety of classic Due South dishes.
Dockside’s grand opening begins at 11am on Thursday, April 5th, with Mix 107.3’s Ashley Nickels broadcasting live from the new locale from 10am to 3pm. Stop by Dockside on the way to the game to meet Ashley, and enter to win awesome prizes, tickets, and more from DC’s best music mix station.
Chef Rusty Holman has prepared a special Opening Day menu, featuring dishes such as Pulled Pork Nachos, Smokehouse Chili, BBQ Sliders, Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, and the Summer House Sandwich.
Dockside’s bar features beers on tap, including Pacifico, Due South Lager, and Devil’s Backbone Earned Run Ale. In addition to beer, wine, and spirits, Dockside also offers Frosé, the perfect accompaniment to a warm summer day in Navy Yard.
Dockside will be open at least two hours before and after each Nationals home game throughout April. Beginning May 1st, Dockside plans to be open at 11am daily, weather dependent.”
