Real Estate Fresh Finds is a weekly selection of newly-listed properties in the District, brought to you by Real Living At Home.
With almost 100 less listings than last week, this week’s new listing count is only 162. The demand for homes is there, so if you’re in the market for a new home, you better get out there and start looking before there’s none left. Check out some of our suggested Fresh Finds below:
- The Most Expensive Home of the Week is a 3,400 square foot row home in Georgetown with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms — including the most bizarre half bathroom we’ve seen lately.
- A one bedroom Cleveland Park penthouse condo unit just a block away from the Metro and commercial corridor.
- Our newest category of Most Interesting Listing of the Week is a historic embassy building that was converted to condos rather than getting much embassy use.
- Another brand-new townhouse condo building along Georgia Avenue in Petworth includes an almost cathedral ceiling height master bathroom walk-in shower.
Your Foreclosure of the Week is a 3 bedroom single-family home in Deanwood that appears a new construction will be more successful than any amount of renovation.

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
