“The Third District is currently investigating a shooting in the 1300 block of U Street NW. Three (3) adults are currently being treated at area hospitals for non life-threatening injuries. .
Motorists and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area as we investigate.
Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.”

“The Fifth District is working a shooting in the 2500 block 14th Street NE. After MPD officers heard several shots being fired they immediately responded to the location where they located a victim with an injury to her ear. Unknown if she was struck by an bullet fragment or injured it when she was dove on the ground. Witnesses said a vehicle came by at a high rate of speed while firing rounds out at people on the sidewalk. Look out for a dark gray vehicle with tinted windows.
