Learn about the wildlife in our backyard and see science in action at this celebration of birds that come near and far to stop by our city. Scientists from the Smithsonian Migratory Bird Center will be banding local resident and migratory birds, just as they would when conducting research in the field. There will be games, crafts, and challenges to learn about birds. There will be a free tasting of coffee that creates bird habitat. See, hear and learn about these amazing creatures from the scientists who study them!”
