“Highlights were watching Scherzer pitch 5 innings on Friday for a 7-5 win against the Astros in Kissimmee and getting watch & photograph some real closeup pitching while he was in the bullpen; all totaled he struck out 6 batters and allowed one run on three hits. That same day I also had the good fortune to get a photograph of Harper hitting his first home run of the season. On Saturday Jordan Zimmerman pitched 5 innings for a 4-2 win over the Marlins at Space Coast Stadium, their home stadium in Viera.
Max Scherzer has been named the Opening Day starter vs the Mets on April 6.”
