From a press release:

“On Saturday, Oct. 25, hundreds of partygoers will join some of the 65,000 “residents” of the Historic Congressional Cemetery for the graveyard’s annual Halloween celebration. This fifth annual event raises money to support the Congressional Cemetery’s operations and mission to conserve the grounds and infrastructure, serve the community as a resource, and celebrate American heritage.

The spook-tacular celebration puts a distinctive spin on the traditional Halloween party as the cemetery is transformed into DC’s happiest haunt. The event features twilight tours of the cemetery grounds, a costume contest, access to the Public Vault, entertainment, and more. Guests will also enjoy food & drink in a heated tent when not out touring and mingling with some of the cemetery’s most notable residents, such as former first lady Dolley Madison, silent film actress Mary Fuller, and Lincoln assassination conspirator David Herold.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
