Niko is a 1-year old beagle mix from City Dogs Rescue. Niko is a lovebug and a snuggler. He will have you laughing at his funny antics when he’s not engaging you in play. And, if that’s not enough – he’s a quick learner too! You can apply to adopt Niko or any of our available dogs on our adoption page, apply to foster one of our pups here, or meet some of our pups at one of our upcoming events!

Dallas – Tails High, Inc.

 

Dallas is a 2-4-year old, puzzle-loving tabby with bright green eyes from Tails High, Inc. He is loves to follow his people from room to room and purrs like a steam engine when you pet him. He is a goofball when it comes to playtime and is very gentle but takes some time to warm up to new people. Army is a beautiful 5-year old bluetick coonhound mix from Rural Dog Rescue. Army thinks he’s a giant lap dog and gets along well with pups his own size. You can apply to adopt Army or any of our adoptable animals here. If you are interested in fostering one of our animals, please apply here. You can meet many of our animals every Saturday at Howl to the Chief from noon until 3pm.

Derby and Sandor - Homeward Trails

Derby & Sandor – Homeward Trails Animal Rescue

Derby and Sandor are 5 and 6-month old domestic tabby kittens from Homeward Trails Animal Rescue. Derby and Sandor met is foster care and have become the best of friends. Derby is the little girl with the white patch on her chest, and Sandor is the little boy. Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
