Tues. Afternoon Rental Option – Adams Morgan

rental

This rental is located at 1857 Mintwood Place, NW. The listing says:

“This beautiful renovated basement apartment is located on a quiet side street just off bustling Columbia Road in the heart of Adams Morgan.

Just steps from the nearest bus line with easy access to downtown and a short 10 minute walk to both Dupont and Woodley Park. This location really couldn\\\’t get any better!

The apartment itself has plenty of storage space (including a private hallway entrance) and new tile floors and carpet in the bedroom. The recessed, adjustable lighting adds a modern and romantic feel to the living space. Equipped with an electric oven, full-size dishwasher, and an in-unit washer and dryer, the kitchen really has it all.

A spacious bathroom and newly carpeted bedroom complete this beautiful apartment with lots of character. The large patio out back offers a wonderful private space to have parties or soak up some sun on your own. Wifi also reaches out back, enabling the patio to become your own outdoor office!

The unit is currently occupied but will be available for a one year lease starting July 1. We\\\’re hosting two open houses, so please come by and view the space for yourself! Wednesday, June 18 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
