“Blackwater Distilling™, Inc. (“Blackwater”), Maryland’s first fully licensed beverage alcohol distiller since 1972, today announced the release of Sloop Betty Honey vodka. Sloop Betty Honey is an infusion of Blackwater’s multiple Gold Medal-winning Sloop Betty handcrafted wheat vodka and natural honey from Maryland’s eastern shore.
The first run of Sloop Betty Honey will be infused with honey primarily from the nectar of butterbean flowers, which will be distributed through Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC). Later, Blackwater plans to release seasonal offerings made with different honeys.
A launch party for Sloop Betty Honey vodka will be held on January 30 at Libertine in Washington, DC at 2435 18th St NW from 7pm to 9:30pm.”
