From a press release:
“After more than a decade building a loyal following across the DMV, Purée Juice Bar is entering its next chapter with the opening of two new locations in Georgetown (1511 Wisconsin Avenue NW, Washington, DC) and Cabin John Village (7937 Tuckerman Lane, Suite B, Potomac, MD). The Georgetown location will officially open its doors on October 8, with Cabin John Village to follow this fall.
The expansion comes under new ownership from Dyala Madani and Kaveh Shirazi, longtime Purée customers who became owners in 2025 with a simple goal: preserve what made the brand special while thoughtfully elevating the experience for the next generation of guests.
“We were customers before we were owners, so we know firsthand what makes Purée different,” said Dyala Madani, Co-Owner of Purée Juice Bar.
“Our goal is to protect the standards, hospitality and sense of community that have made Purée a part of people’s daily routines for more than 15 years, while bringing a refreshed experience to more people.”
Since opening in 2011, Purée has built its reputation by doing things differently, and doing them without shortcuts. It is one of the only juice brands in the area made with 100% certified organic produce, raw and cold-pressed, never processed with High-Pressure Processing (HPP), and bottled in glass. Unlike many cold-pressed juices designed for extended shelf life, Purée’s juices are intentionally made to be enjoyed fresh within three to four days. The same standards extend beyond the juice menu to thoughtfully prepared organic smoothies and food, including grab-and-go bowls, wraps and nutrient-dense snacks. Exceptional, 100% organic ingredients are only part of the experience. The brand’s signature hospitality is equally central to its identity. Every Purista — the name given to Purée’s team members — is trained in hospitality first, and are encouraged to understand what guests are looking for and guide them through the menu with genuine care. Each new location was also designed to be a neighborhood destination, with ample seating and bright, open spaces that welcome guests to begin their mornings, pause during busy days, or simply feel taken care of.
“We believe how you feel when you leave is just as important as what’s in your bottle or bowl,” said Kaveh Shirazi, Co-Owner of Purée Juice Bar. “We are excited to offer spaces that people want to return to, not just because of the juice and food quality, but also because of how
they’re treated.”
Purée first began at local farmers markets before opening its first brick-and-mortar location on Bethesda Row. Since then, the brand has expanded to Mosaic District, Sibley Memorial Hospital, and Whole Foods Market, and today also operates inside Equinox in Tysons Corner, establishing itself as a go-to destination for organic juice and food throughout the DMV. The Georgetown and Cabin John Village locations mark the next phase of Purée’s growth, bringing the brand to more neighborhoods while staying true to the principles that have defined it from the start.
Purée Juice Bar Georgetown and Cabin John Village will be open Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
