I’m sure you will get lots of pictures of downed trees from last night’s storm. One fell across Montello in Trinidad right at the intersection where Wheatley Education Campus is located and along the routes of the C71 and D36. I guess either the word didn’t get back to drivers fast enough or they tried to get families going to school closer to the school or something, but 4 Metrobuses were pulled over on Montello at Neal with another stopped up at Owen (the previous stop). Later buses were rerouted down WV, but I can only imagine the chaos for morning commutes with 5 buses out of action.”

“Not damage from last night, but was stuck on the tarmac at dca when it blew through, absolutely terrifying, the plane was shaking in the wind. Safe to say our 8pm flight turned into a 12 hr delay.”
