“UNIQLO will open its newest store in Georgetown, Washington DC at 3262 M St NW Washington, DC 20007 at 10AM on August 28th, as the brand continues its expansion in the region and across the U.S. The new store will offer UNIQLO’s full lineup of LifeWear for men and women, in addition to locally focused initiatives building on UNIQLO’s commitment to creating positive impact in the communities it serves.
UNIQLO has orchestrated a full weekend of festivities for the community, along with limited time offers, special gifts for shoppers, free giveaways, and exclusive product. The festivities will kick off with a traditional Japanese Taiko drum performance at 9:50AM followed by doors officially opening at 10:00AM.
Georgetown UTme! Collaborations
UTme! Is UNIQLO’s in-store print-on-demand service that lets customers create a one-of-a-kind T-shirt or tote bag and take it home the same day. Shoppers choose their item and size, customize a design using a range of creative tools, and have it printed on site-turning everyday LifeWear into a personal, wearable canvas.
UNIQLO’s Georgetown store will offer exclusive UTme! Designs created with local artists and business owners from Georgetown Cupcake and Kelly Towles. Towles is known for his colorful, community-inspired artwork rooted in Washington, D.C. culture, and Georgetown Cupcake is a beloved Washington, D.C. bakery known for its signature cupcakes, iconic pink boxes, and handcrafted sweet treats.
The designs will be available on T-shirts and tote bags, complemented by in-store displays that spotlight the collaboration.
RE.UNIQLO Studio
UNIQLO is proud to open its 11th RE.UNIQLO Studio location in the U.S. at the Georgetown store. With a mission of pursuing a new future and longevity for clothes, RE.UNIQLO Studio offers the following services:
REMAKE Add embroidery to your favorite pieces through a menu of over 50 designs and text, starting at $10, or shop one-of-a-kind UNIQLO pieces designed by upclycling desginers
REPAIR Bring in your well-loved UNIQLO pieces in need of common mending like stitching or button replacement to be repaired on-site for $5.
REUSE Gather any UNIQLO clothing you’re no longer in need of, and drop them in the donation box at RE.UNIQLO Studio for the brand to donate on your behalf to non-profit partner, Covenant House.
RECYCLE Unwearable clothes are collected and used as raw materials or recycled into materials for new clothing.

Morning Giveaways Everyday throughout Grand Opening weekend (8/28 – 9/3) the first 300 customers in line will receive a free UNIQLO knot bag filled with UNIQLO exclusive goodies.
Gift with Purchase The first 300 customers who make any in-store purchase on Friday, 8/28 will receive a free voucher towards a breakfast treat
Georgetown Cupcake Giveaway: The first 300 customers will receive a free cupcake from Georgetown Cupcake Friday 8/28 – Sunday 8/30 starting at 3PM.
Pokémon Poképia Collection: New styles from the Pokémon Poképia collection featuring UT graphic T-shirts and tote bags with playful artwork inspired by the world of Pokémon will be available for customization.
Taiko Performance Join us for Taiko drum performances throughout Grand Opening weekend (8/28 – 8/30). Friday and Saturday performances will be at 9:50AM, 12PM, 2PM, and 4PM and on Sunday at 10:50AM, 12PM, 2PM, and 4PM.
