My favorite bar in Shaw, All Souls, is hosting a fundraiser on Tuesday night for one of their employees, Nasib, who has fallen very ill.
The fundraiser details: 5pm-Close at All Souls bar, with pizza from Little Grand and chilitos from Meats & Foods. All sales and tips will go to Nasib for his medical and recovery expenses.

“After a sudden and life-changing medical crisis. Nasib was admitted to the hospital, and after five difficult days, doctors discovered that a virus had attacked his nervous system. Since then, Nasib has been unable to move his left arm and can barely move his right. This has turned his world upside down, especially because Nasib works with his hands. Right now, even the most basic parts of daily life have become incredibly challenging, and the road ahead will take time, care, and support.
Because of this illness, Nasib is out of work and uninsured, leaving him to face not only serious health challenges, but also the stress of personal financial responsibilities during recovery. The funds from this fundraiser will help support Nasib with medical bills, personal finances while he is unable to work, and the physical therapy he needs as he begins healing and adjusting to this difficult transition. Any support you can give will make a huge difference for Nasib and help lighten the burden during this painful time. Thank you for standing with Nasib and being part of his recovery.”
