“Force Free DC launched in the fall of 2023. Our team met while working together at Patrick’s Pet Care in Washington, DC. Over the years — and especially through the Covid-19 pandemic — our training business and our clients’ needs really grew. FFDC founder Joseph Ryan quickly realized that a company dedicated to using positive reinforcement methods for dog training and behavior modification could help a lot of people and pups in the DMV Metropolitan region.
Positive Growth
Each of our trainers are experts in the field. They hold multiple dog training and behavior certifications from world renowned trainers, behavior consultants, and certified behaviorists.
IT’S HAPPENING! After years of building FFDC as a business, providing care and support for so many families, watching our trainers grow into experts, and helping sooooo many pups through their training journey, we HAVE A TRAINING STUDIO! I’ve been working with @pedalretail to secure a space, funding, and make this project fit our needs. They’ve been the most helpful, and even though it’s been a process, I wouldn’t change anything!
Our training studio is at 5521 Colorado Ave NW, and we’re hoping for a grand opening sometime around July-October. We’ll obviously keep everyone posted during construction!
This new space will allow for more controlled private lessons and speciality consultations, as well as opening our Small Group Play and Train service to the public!
