“Dear PoPville,

Have you seen Squirrel Park in the past year? A huge tree was blown down in a storm and remains down more than a year later.

The adjacent Whittle School closed, and no-one is tending the grounds any more. It has become more than an eyesore; it is a neighborhood safety hazard, full of vermin and uncared for bushes and grass. Those of us who enjoyed this park are distressed; a concerned neighbor put up a sign (see photo above), to request information and help. Please publicize this issue and help us address the problems.”
