Boom! Thanks to all who passed on from the Bouldering Project:
“We’re excited to share some big news: Bouldering Project has signed a lease to open a second climbing gym in Washington, DC, located at DC USA Mall in Columbia Heights.
This new location, which will provide easy Metro access as well as ample parking, will offer expansive bouldering terrain, energizing fitness and yoga spaces, welcoming youth areas, and plenty of room to gather and hang out.
Best of all, membership includes access to all Bouldering Project gyms, which means members will have access to two gyms within Washington, DC.
We’re also gearing up to make some meaningful investments in our Eckington gym. Watch for exciting updates to come including locker room improvements, new fitness equipment, and fresh climbs arriving later this year.
Thanks for being part of our community — we can’t wait to continue growing with you.
See you on the wall.”

From their website:
“We’re stoked to welcome our second location to Washington, D.C. – Bouldering Project Columbia Heights.
Like our other Bouldering Project locations, this new gym will be beautifully designed by our in-house team, offering world-class bouldering terrain, a functional fitness area with brand new equipment, and a fresh yoga studio.
We’re also excited to offer a dedicated youth climbing space, a training center with adjustable training boards, a sauna for post-session recovery, and flexible co-working areas perfect for remote work or casual meetups.
Located in the DC USA Mall, we’ll be right across the street from the Columbia Heights metro stop (Green and Yellow lines), in the same building as Target, Lidl, Best Buy, and Marshall’s, and walking distance to one of the most diverse selection of restaurants and cafes in all of DC. Prefer to drive? There is a large parking lot in the basement of the building.
We can’t wait to welcome you to our new space!
Address: USA Building, 3100 14th St NW”
STAY TUNED.
