A: We are proud to host both in-house and promoter-curated events featuring a
wide variety of music, including House, Techno, DnB, Electro, Bass, Hardcore, and
so much more! We strive to keep our programming highly varied and reflective of
the tastes of the local underground. You can also find a wide variety of live music
programming coming up, from jazz to indie, to rock, to punk. Follow our Instagram

Q: What are your operating hours?

A: we are typically open from 10pm-3am Friday and Saturday for events, although
we hope to expand our regular hours, soon! You’ll also find live acts and
community events on weekdays and weekends before 10pm—please check our
Instagram or “upcoming events” section to see what’s on the calendar!

Q: How do I get to Transmission?

A: We are located on 1353 H St NE and are accessible via the bus on the D routes
or the H st Streetcar. Street parking is available on neighboring streets. Please be
attentive of local parking restrictions and respectful of our neighbors when
parking and traveling through residential areas!

Q: Is the space safe for me? How do you ensure the safety of all patrons?

A: we are a community-driven space that prioritizes the safety of queer, trans,
POC, and other marginalized communities. We have a zero tolerance policy for
harassment, non-consensual touching, or violent behavior. If you experience
anything that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to
find a staff member at ticketing or security and we will take prompt action to
ensure your comfort. We also stock NARCAN, first aid supplies, and toiletries to
ensure we are prepared to resolve any medical situations that may arise! See

Q: I’m hungry! Where do I get food nearby?

A: We are proud to collaborate with Third Hand Kitchen to offer a variety of food
options onsite, including vegan and vegetarian options! Order using a QR code in
the building.

A: thanks for your patronage! You can support by coming back week after week
and, if you want to do more, please join our Patreon! Your support allows us to
keep our space affordable and give back to those experiencing hardship. we love
you!

Q: I’d like to come, but am experiencing financial hardship. How can I access the
space?

A: Although most of our events are ticketed, we understand that everyone
experiences financial hardship at times. To keep our space accessible to the
community, we uphold a sliding scale/no one turned away for lack of funds policy.

Q: How do I book an event in the space?

can be rented out in its entirety or on on a per-floor basis. Please provide your
proposed lineup and information about your party, concert, or event so we can
best assist you!

Q: is the space wheelchair accessible?

A: the first floor is wheelchair accessible and has 2 wheelchair accessible gender
neutral bathroom stalls. At this time, the building does not have a lift to access
the second floor or rooftop.”
