From a press release:
“Peruvian Brothers, the Washington, D.C.-based fast-casual concept founded by brothers Giuseppe and Mario Lanzone, is set to open its third
brick-and-mortar location at 660 North Capitol Street NW. The new restaurant, opening to the public on Monday, April 20, marks a significant milestone for the immigrant-founded brand and its continued growth across the DMV region. Opening day will feature a full day of programming celebrating Peruvian culture, free alfajores, and complimentary bottles of the popular Peruvian Brothers Rocoto Hot Sauce for the first 100 customers.

Over the past 13 years, Peruvian Brothers has grown from a single food truck into a leading regional culinary brand known for bringing authentic Peruvian flavors to fast-casual dining. Their work has earned them recognition as Marca Perú Ambassadors and “Gastro-Diplomats.”
What began with a loyal following for their signature empanadas and sandwiches, made with freshly baked bread from a family recipe in Lima, has expanded into a thriving restaurant and catering business serving the greater Washington metropolitan area.

“This opening is our biggest restaurant yet, just steps from the U.S. Capitol,” said Giuseppe Lanzone. “We’ve grown with purpose, staying true to our heritage by serving the flavors we miss most from Peru to Washington, D.C.”
Giuseppe, a two-time U.S. Olympic rower, has brought the same discipline and drive from elite athletics to his role as CEO. Mario serves as Executive Chef, bringing decades of culinary experience from his time captaining and cooking on private yachts, translating the flavors of their childhood in Peru into a menu rooted in authenticity, quality, and accessibility.

The new, 3,000 sq. foot North Capitol location has 55 seats for those dining in, and features an expansive mural by local artist JAHRU of the La Punta, Callao, in Lima, Peru, hometown of Peruvian Brothers, Giuseppe and Mario. The menu will offer the brand’s signature Peruvian favorites alongside a full bar featuring their cult-favorite Pisco Sour Slushies, a refreshing, citrus-forward twist on Peru’s national cocktail. Adding to the experience, Peruvian Brothers will continue its popular “Alpaca Happy Hour,” a playful, family-friendly activation where guests can interact with alpacas outside the restaurant, and celebrate Peruvian culture through food, music, and community.
Peruvian Brothers North Capitol will be open Mondays to Fridays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m and weekends for private events.”
