I’ve noticed a lot of fake cherry blossom and flower decor in restaurants all over the city and I was wondering if the community might be able to get the word out about how damaging this decor is to bees.
Bees try to pollinate on the fake flowers, get disoriented and lost, and can end up dying if they can’t get to real flowers. I have started to warn establishments about this and ask them to take down the decor, but its slow work!
