“Atlas Restaurant Group today announced the forthcoming addition of 101 Constitution Ave in Washington, DC to its acclaimed roster of properties across the country. Atlas, one of Inc. Magazine’s “Fastest Growing Companies in the Mid-Atlantic,” will transform the former Charlie Palmer Steak space into their acclaimed American steakhouse concept, The Ruxton. The Ruxton DC’s debut continues Atlas’s strategic expansion across the United States and is slated to open in Spring 2027.
The 101 Constitution space adds to Atlas’s growth in the DC area which includes an additional forthcoming location of The Ruxton alongside their award-winning cocktail bar, Order of the Ace, in Maryland’s National Harbor in 2026. This will be the group’s fourth iteration of The Ruxton which includes their flagship location in Baltimore, the aforementioned National Harbor location, and a forthcoming location in Philadelphia (Spring 2027). The property’s leasing was brokered by CBRE.
The 14,400-square-foot restaurant will seat 250 guests and include three private dining rooms as well as valet parking. The Ruxton DC will bring the group’s signature approach to hospitality, design, live entertainment, and culinary excellence steps from the U.S. Capitol — From tender filet mignon to robust ribeye, patrons can anticipate an array of premium selections. Internationally acclaimed interior designer, Patrick Sutton, will partner with Atlas once again to transform the space with Atlas’s unique hospitality vision.

In addition to the main restaurant, Atlas will serve as the exclusive culinary partner for the building’s newly renovated rooftop event venue. The expansive terrace will feature 7,100 square feet of interior event space and an additional 11,900 square feet of outdoor entertaining areas, offering sweeping views of the U.S. Capitol, Union Station, and the Washington Monument. The rooftop will host private events, corporate gatherings, and special celebrations supported by Atlas’s culinary and hospitality teams.
