“there are at least two engines and 3 ladder trucks with lots of fire fighters. The house is on the west side of 11th where it his park ne. National guard is being useful for keeping perimeter so that’s a win.”
DC Fire and EMS reported:
“Box Alarm 200 block 11th St NE. Fire 1st floor 2 story dwelling. Fire knocked down. Checking for extension. Occupants safely escaped. Additional truck and air unit requested.
Update Box Alarm 200 block 11th St NE. Fire confined to 1st floor and under control. No injuries. 1 adult male and 1 dog displaced. @RedCrossNCGC notified. Fire investigators on scene.”
