“Dear PoPville,
Wondering if you have any insight into this crazy situation we are having on our block in NoMa.
It looks like someone, likely a neighbor, is actively trying to get more rats on the block. As in not just being sloppy, but going out of their way to go into other peoples’ trash cans, rip open their garbage bags, and throw the garbage on the ground.
I originally thought it was either the garbagemen being sloppy or somebody rooting through garbage, but a couple weeks ago they actively dumped another neighbors garbage right at a rat hole on somebody else’s shed.
Ever heard of somebody doing this before? And any guesses why?
I’m setting up a Ring camera to hopefully identify them, although not sure what to do when I do.”
