Georgia Avenue Prime Thrift Store Confirms an End of an Era – “We are closing our doors – 50% off everything”

In December we broke the crushing news that the ‘Georgia Avenue Thrift Store Plans to Close later this Winter’.

Thanks to Jeff for passing on: “Me and My kids are crushed…..” Georgia Avenue Prime Thrift‘s closing confirmation and sale announcement says:

“The rumors are true.

We are closing our doors.

This was not an easy decision to make, nor was it a quick one. We will miss the familiar faces and the new ones who shared the love of thrifting with us. We want to thank you for your loyalty through the years. Starting Feb. 8, 2025 all merchandise will be 50% off.”

While no date is listed in this email a previous call to the store revealed that there were plans to close on February 21st. Get some bargains while you still can and stay tuned.
