But seriously any idea what caused this? Obviously somehow weather related but what? Heavy equipment staging damage? Any other guesses?
Update from WMATA:
“We are in the process of replacing floor tiles at the Dupont Circle south entrance that have come loose due to frigid temperatures. During this time, 5 of the 10 faregates at that entrance/exit will be inaccessible. We appreciate your patience.”
