DDOT “crews have cleared and made passable 20+ miles of protected bike lanes and trails across DC”

From DDOT:

“Snow Removal Update: #DDOTDC crews have cleared and made passable 20+ miles of protected bike lanes and trails across DC as ice cleanup continues,

including key connections like the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge. Thank you for your patience as work continues citywide.”

Just curious: Has anyone tried biking in this weather? Is it just brutal in this cold – or layering works well enough?
