“Chacho Spirits announced today that it will permanently close its tasting room in late March 2026. While this marks the end of an important chapter for the brand, Chacho will continue to be locally produced and available at all your favorite bars and liquor stores.
Since opening, the Chacho Spirits tasting room has served as a gathering place for not only tours and tastings, but so many birthdays, wedding celebrations, concerts, baby showers and countless other get-togethers. Our guests made this a special place over the years, which made it such a tough decision to close.
“We are incredibly grateful to everyone who braved our sketchy parking lot and followed the llamas up our staircase to share a spicy drink with us and support Chacho along the way,” said founder Dan Ziegler. “The tasting room allowed us to connect with our DC fans in such a personal way, and that will always be something we’re grateful for and proud of.”
The closure will allow the Chacho team to better serve its wholesale distribution clients, ensuring that Chacho fanatics can enjoy our spicy spirits beyond the tasting room walls – with plans for increased opportunities to connect with guests out in the community.
Chacho extends a heartfelt thanks to all its staff and loyal supporters over the years who helped bring the tasting room to life and make it so memorable.

FINAL CONCERT – come see the amazing Bongo District for our last concert at the tasting room on Friday 2/27/26, $8 margaritas all night long. Doors open at 8pm, show begins at 9ish and $10 tickets available here ($15 at the door).
CLOSING PARTY – come say goodbye one final time at our closing party on 3/21/26 from 2-8pm. All cocktails are $10 all day, specials including buy 2 bottles get 1 free, and much more! This is our last hoorah!!
Any cocktail purchased from now through 3/21/26 gets you a raffle ticket for prizes that include $200 in Chacho bottles and merch, or an off-site Cocktail Class with our founder for up to 12 people. Drawing will happen at 6pm at the Closing Party, must be present to win.”
