“Phil Kline’s beloved holiday cult classic

UNSILENT NIGHT

will be performed by the public in Washington, DC on Wednesday, December 17th at 6pm

Kline’s shimmering 45-minute soundscape is performed on portable speakers, amplified phones, and boomboxes carried through city streets and parks (Each participant plays one of four tracks)

The magic begins when everyone hits PLAY on their devices at the same time,
together unfolding a beautiful, enveloping tapestry of sound
as the “walking symphony” sets off into the night
