On Wednesday evening after the shooting, Marine 1 probably buzzed my building in Woodley Park like 20 times and now they’re doing it again (Friday night), just an east-west route and then turning around and doing it again.
I can tell that they get as far east at Columbia Heights, then they must turn around somewhere.
I have no idea why this is happening because Marine 1 (the helicopter, anyway, not necessarily the official designation based on who’s occupying it) isn’t something that can enforce anything or attack or surveil. It’s just a transport for the president and vice-president.”
