Where the magic happens:

With an Andy’s of course:

Will have a sweet balcony in the spring:

I had to take some photos in Navy Yard first so I just walked over the bridge and it’s only like a 2 minute walk from the other side. Plus you get beautiful bridge views. But it’s also a very close walk from Anacostia metro too.

The Bridge District:

Why not?

Full press release:
“Atlas Brew Works is thrilled to announce its new flagship location, Atlas Bridge District Brewery & Tap Room, will open to the public on Saturday, November 8, at 11am. Atlas is the anchor retail tenant at the Bridge District, the largest multifamily structure in the world to pursue the International Living Future Institute’s Zero Carbon Certification. The forthcoming location will also be the first and only beer production east of the river and offer food from award-winning Andy’s Pizza.
Atlas will move its flagship production brewery location from Ivy City to Southeast DC, quadrupling its production capacity, as Bridge District will have a 30bbl four vessel brewhouse with 120bbl fermentation vessels. The 24,260 square-foot space also boasts a large tap room and sun-soaked patio, in addition to main brewery operations. Fans of the Atlas brand will find familiarity in delicious food offerings from Andy’s Pizza like pizza, salads, wings, and fries, similar to the Alexandria and Navy Yard locations. A semi-private space will also be available for celebrations and social gatherings, and beer tastings and tours will be available for groups when booked in advance.
Located at the foot of the Frederick Douglass Memorial Bridge, Bridge District is a dynamic eight-acre, mixed-use development featuring residential living, retail, public parkland, and community recreation space. The neighborhood is conveniently located on the Washington Metro Green Line and adjacent to a 100-acre national park and the 20-mile Anacostia Riverwalk Trail and offers open space, access to nature, and climate-conscious living.
Keeping with its reputation and mission of sustainable stewardship, Atlas Bridge District has implemented a range of environmentally conscious practices throughout its operations. The brewery features a high-efficiency, gas-free brewhouse that is fully integrated into the building’s base systems, allowing excess heat from the brewing process to be captured and reused elsewhere in the facility. Standard water reclamation processes are still in place, and all spent grain is donated to local farmers for agricultural use. In addition, Atlas recently made the move to 100% recyclable aluminum cans, eliminating plastic wraps and labels to ensure the entire can remains in the recycling stream. These efforts underscore Atlas Brew Works’ dedication to reducing its environmental footprint while continuing to deliver high-quality craft beer.
Atlas Bridge District Brewery & Tap Room is located at 600 Howard Road SE, Suite 100, Washington, DC 20020. Atlas Bridge District will open at 4pm Mondays through Fridays, and 11am on Saturdays and Sundays.“
