Long shot, I know, but I’m looking for help finding a distinctive and sentimental earring I lost yesterday.
Probably obvious, but the lost earring is a match to the one in the photo. The earrings were handmade by a metalsmith friend, who gifted them to me for my doctoral graduation a number of years ago.
It’s possible the missing earring fell out somewhere in Capitol Hill — 11th St NE between H and Lincoln Park, 12th St SE, S Carolina SE, Peregrine, Eastern Market metro. I was later on an Ashburn-bound Silver train around 10:00a and at several places on the GW campus before I realized the earring was missing.
Again, I know this is a long shot. Worst-case scenario, I’ll make the remaining earring into a necklace, but I would be SO grateful if someone were to help me get my complete pair back.”
