Old Westminster Winery has just launched Brine — a wine for oysters. Brine is a crisp, Vinho Verde–style blend that is our tribute to the Chesapeake and its oysters, nature’s own delicious tool for restoring the Bay, right in time for wild oyster season starting October 1.
Like all Old Westminster wines, Brine is cause-driven: For every bottle sold, $1 will be donated to Oyster Recovery Partnership, a Chesapeake Bay restoration organization. ORP played a major role in accomplishing one of the world’s largest and most successful oyster restoration efforts to date with the recent completion of the Manokin River Sanctuary.”
