And earlier this morning a few folks were asking about the giant police presence around 14th and Girard Street, NW:
“Police had the street blocked off on Girard b/w 14th and 15th NW and I counted at least 8 cars just on 14th when I went by around 7:15 this morning.”
I’m told it was related to: “a Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force officer-involved shooting that occurred in the 1400 block of Girard Street, Northwest.”
