But since the national guard showed up, everyone has been very apprehensive about allowing your dog off leash given national parks’ rules, which govern and dictate that dogs must be on leash (see picture). I approached six national guard today and they could confirm that the scope of their mission does NOT include the patrolling dogs on or off leash.“
