The local DC senior dog rescue I volunteer with, Miri’s Haven, is doing a Taylor Swift-themed fundraiser leading up to the release of her 12th album launch on October 3rd. Each day leading up to the launch, we’re posting one of our senior rescue dogs dressed up as one of Taylor’s Eras (photos attached of our first three releases!).
We’re hoping folks will donate $12 (or multiples of 12, if they’re feeling generous!) to help us reach our goal of $12k. We’re entirely volunteer run so every cent goes to helping our senior pups, many of whom have critical medical needs when they first enter our care due to severe neglect or abuse.
Since our founding in 2021, we’ve rescued over 550 senior dogs and are fast approaching 600!”
