Just a heads up for the community. “Nordic Energy” has representatives out in Columbia Heights/Park View knocking on doors, claiming that folks on my street have complained about utility costs, and were pretty insistent on seeing our Pepco and Washington Gas accounts.
While these folks were friendlier and less pushy than the MPower folks, it felt a little too similar. Thought they’d relent with me telling them that the utilities were handled by my partner who wasn’t home, but they doubled down and asked when would be a better time to come back.
“Please don’t come back, we’re not interested,” did the trick.”
