“We are currently fostering an amazing gal- Daisy- through the organization Lovepaws. Daisy is from the PG County shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized due to a lack of space and PG’s horrendous breed bans. Lovepaws swooped in and saved her literally hours before she was set to die. We’ve been fostering her since October and she is such a sweetheart! A total love bug that just wants to be a part of a family. She’s amazing with my two small children and absolutely loves people. She is happiest when she’s surrounded by family and friends and a part of the group. She has some puppy energy and could use more training, but she also loves to cuddle on the couch and is a great spooner.
She is reactive to other dogs- though not aggressively, and we’ve been working on it! This however has made it hard to take her to adoption events, and I’m trying to think of ways to get this sweet girl more attention because I know she would be adopted quickly if more people got to meet her. Honestly, we would keep her except that she does not seem to like our cat, and the feeling seems to be mutual.
Also here is her posting on the Lovepaws website.”
