This rental is located at Maryland Ave NE near D St. NE. the Craigslist ad says:

“$1,900 / 1br – 585ft2 – Sunny, furnished 1BR in Capitol Hill (Washington)

NOT AVAILABLE until May 1.
This is an excellent 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Capitol Hill apartment just one block from Stanton Park available May 1 for $1900 per month. The unit is a basement unit in a condo building, but has windows on three sides and more light than many above-ground apartments. The kitchen has modern appliances, dishwasher and garbage disposal. The bedroom has a small closet, with a larger one in the living room. There is a free washer/dryer steps outside the apartment.
The location is one of the best features of the apartment. You are a 5-10 minute walk to the metro and trains at Union Station, the Capitol and the restaurants and bars on H St. There is a small “wedge park” that abuts the condo building, and Stanton park is one block away. There is plenty of street parking outside.
The apartment is furnished with a queen-sized bed, sectional couch, end table, desk and chair, and television stand (there is no tv).

I am looking for a tenant who is willing to rent the unit from the beginning of May at least through the end of August. For tenants seeking a shorter lease, I have been willing to make a good faith effort to identify future tenants who may be able to move in before the conclusion of your lease; if I can, I am willing to prorate your rent for the days you occupy. However, you bear the risk of payment for the whole month if I cannot identify a suitable tenant to take your place.
I am willing to consider longer-term leases, but the apartment would have to remain furnished.
The rent includes water, but not electricity or internet (though the apartment is ready for wireless and cable upon move-in). A security deposit equal to one month’s rent is required.
In any inquiries, please tell me a little bit about yourself, what you do, and the dates you are seeking a lease. I will be out of the country and slow to respond between March 5 – March 23; the apartment will not be available for viewing until the last week of March). The apartment can be considered available as long as this posting is up–no need to ask.”
