“Dear PoPville,
I visited my regular breakfast spot this morning, Cracked Eggery (Shaw/U Street), and noticed their front door was boarded up. After asking about it, I learned they were broken into twice this week—on back-to-back nights, Tuesday and Wednesday!
The coffee shop next door was also targeted, with their front door smashed on the same night. Fortunately, neither business was open at the time, although Cracked does open for late-night service on weekends which was news to me.
It’s unfortunate to see this happen to a small local business, but I’m grateful no one was hurt. Going to try and support them with an extra visit this week.”
