I wanted to see if it’s me, or if there’s an issue when paying your Pepco bill. For years, I’ve had no problems paying via checking account; this is the cheapest way, as there are no service charges. I’ve been trying for two weeks to pay this way, and an error message keeps popping up.
I’ve emailed three times, and just hung up the phone with them. They’ve told me the only alternative way to pay is to go to a location in person, mail in a check, or pay with a credit card that results in additional charges! Can you publicize this to see if it’s a me issue or a DC/MD issue? Additional charges because their system is down just doesn’t sit right.”
