All ages are invited for a day of family friendly activities as we close a one-mile stretch of 7th Street NW to cars and open it up to people!
Enjoy live performances from local bands, singers, and instrumentalists, as well as plenty of outdoor fitness activities and opportunities to play.
Open Streets 7th Street NW also offers FREE helmets (and helmet decor), swag, scooter and bike lessons, and rides from sponsor LIME.

The ESPN Radio Switch Lounge is a new Open Streets activation this year featuring Pop-A-Shot and a Nintendo Switch station. And don’t miss a Chinese Lion dance with an official Lettuce ceremony hosted by the 1882 Foundation.
Open Streets helps inspire people to think differently about their streets by encouraging physical activity, creating recreational opportunities, fostering community building, and education to demonstrate the District’s commitment to multimodal transportation.
