Enjoy Free Performances From 100+ Bands at Adams Morgan Fall PorchFest

Adams Morgan Fall PorchFest

The Adams Morgan Partnership Business Improvement District has officially announced details for Adams Morgan Fall PorchFest on Saturday, November 2 from 2 to 6 p.m.!

Featuring 100+ bands, this free event will showcase some of D.C.’s best local musical talent, featuring nearly every musical genre, including classic rock, funk, go-go, hip hop, reggae, bluegrass, classical, and pop. 24+ porches, business patios, parks, and the closed 18th Street will become stages for the day, drawing music-lovers from around the region into the tree-lined streets and small businesses of Adams Morgan.

18th Street NW (between Columbia and Kalorama Roads NW) will be closed to vehicular traffic creating additional safe space for performances.

Event patrons can pick up a music map and FREE wristband at three different event headquarter locations. The first location is in the plaza in front of Truist Bank at the corner of Columbia and Adams Mill Roads NW. The second location is in front of 2424 18th Street NW inside the road closure. The third location is in the Marie Reed Elementary School Plaza at 18th and Wyoming Ave NW.

Event wristbands provide attendees with dozens of discounts at various Adams Morgan businesses. After picking up a wristband and event map, guests can stroll through the neighborhood for nonstop musical performances from 2-6 p.m., enjoy lunch, dinner, or drinks at a neighborhood hangout, and shop for unique gifts at local boutiques.

Limited edition Fall PorchFest t-shirts will be available for purchase on a first come first serve basis at Smash! Records, Adams Morgan Ace Hardware, Urban Dwell, and Because Science the week leading up to and during the event.

In addition to the many stages throughout Adams Morgan, the event will once again feature three main stages — the Plaza Main Stage (located at 1800 Columbia Road NW), the Aetna Main Stage (in front of 2424 18th Street NW within the street closure), and the Marie Reed Stage (in Marie Reed Elementary School’s Plaza) at 18th and Wyoming Ave NW.

Main stage headliners include The Experience Band & Show, Heat Stroke (D.C.’s Firefighter GoGo Band), Gotcha Covered, Bryan Lee, School of Rock, Gracie Jay, and lots more! The full lineup of performers can be found at AdMoPorchFest.com in the coming weeks.
