Some recent frustration with NYSC/Connecticut Ave location.
They have a referral program (see attached sign) where they award $25 gift cards – to the person that refers, and the person that is referred.
I did this with my partner, he joined, and we never got the cards. It was an afterthought, so it took a few weeks for us to realize, and follow up. Then we started getting contradictory info about when we would be getting them.
Finally we spoke to a manager, and were told they are only awarded after 1 billing period (see attached email exchange). When I asked if that was written anywhere, I didn’t receive an answer. All I could see online was a promo last year that is very similar – see attached screenshot.
I contacted NYSC via Instagram, and got a totally different response.
I followed up with the manager about the contradiction:
It’s bazaar that they cant seem to figure out how their own promotion works, and all we have gotten is the run-around when we ask.”
