Following the good, if delayed news, about Due South still coming to Chevy Chase, folks are also wondering about what’s up at the old American City Diner lot:

We were really looking forward to the Derby Chevy Chase concept coming this summer, but the lot is still empty. Any word on whether this is going to go forward?”
Anyone hear anything? Given the demo/vacant lot has been there for almost a full year now…
