“AirOtic Soiree, a sensual cabaret acrobatic circus show, opens at Hook Hall May 31 for a three-month engagement.
The show, a cabaret with extravagant costumes and seductive choreography, features an international troop performing aerial ballet from riggings set in Hook Hall’s ceilings.
A spin-off of the French circus company, Les Farfadais, AirOtic Soiree is described as sophisticated Cirque-inspired circus with performances featuring physique, strength and burlesque.
Each Sunday afternoon during the run, DC top drag entertainers will join with AirOtic acrobats for high-energy fusion of burlesque, drag and acrobatics in a show called “Bubbles & Burlesque”.
There are various ticket levels: Super VIP ($120) affords assigned front row seating and complimentary cocktail; VIP ($110) tickets grant two drinks and excellent assigned seats; Premium ($90) offers two cocktails and third to fifth row seats with good views of the performance and general admission ($70) offers one cocktail and seating at high top tables.
