“Maybe Town 2.0 can move here.

It’s the Mount Bethel Baptist Church at First and Rhode Island NW. Apparently it was sold to developers in 2022 for $5.7 million (according to the first couple paragraphs of a January paywalled Washington Times article), but unless I just completely missed it that for sale/lease sign out front is new. This 2003 story from the Post says it was designated an architectural landmark by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. And here’s another interesting story about the church and the Foster House apartments from the Post in 2022.”
